A one-time fee may apply for a short-term (1-month) prescription outside of a scheduled consult, such as when labs are incomplete, an appointment is missed, or medication is lost

**Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) consultations are not covered by Alberta Health and are offered as a fee-for-service healthcare option. Clients are encouraged to contact their private insurance provider to determine whether coverage for the consultation is available. Please note that prescribed hormones and related medications are generally covered under most extended drug benefit plans.
